New Year, Tweaked Resolutions

First things first, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I'd share my resolutions/goals but right now something else is on my mind and it is, Hunger Games! I read it in 3 days, first time I read book in such a hurry. I was hooked from the beginning, it's like I was hunted and just dragged. Not that the book dragged, if anything the exact opposite. It was eventful from beginning to end. Let me talk about Peeta for a minute or how I like to call him Mr. Bread. Is he dreamy or what? It doesn't help that movie Peeta is a total fox. His character is so valiant, kind, and all around good guy. Moving on to Katniss, I LOVE LOVE LOVE her. She's the strongest teenager I've read about and regarding her struggles I can relate minus the hunger thing. Well Gale I don't know much about him except he loves Katniss more than he's admitted. This love triangle is too much for me. I need to get to Catching Fire and Mockingjay in a hot minute before Part 1 comes out in theatres. Sorry I rambled so much but I am way too excited about having read the book.

So now on to my resolutions for

1/ Lose some poundage. Lately I've caught myself breathing really heavy and staying out of air faster than I used to. I started riding bike whenever I get the chance and first thing I did was kiss soda goodbye. I'm not really tweaking my diet I'm just using moderation as my key to success.

2/ Say YES. I realized that I missed out on some good memories this past year by being a debbie downer and not attending certain things. So I made it a point to say yes.

3/ Take more photos. I need to practice, practice, practice my photography. I'm really quite alright but I need to be great. I'm trying to find my inspiration and focus on one thing to excel and photography is my "thing".

4/ Visit new cities. Pretty basic, we all want to travel. This year I want to meet Florida, the real Florida. The small towns, the colleges, the swamps, the seaside plazas. I can't wait. I also want to see the Pacific so I hope we can do that.

5/ Express myself better. I've let a few relationships fizzle due to my lack of communication. Frankly I'm not a very open person but I also don't try to be, not even with my closest friends. When I am open I tend to say the wrong words or ramble (please see above to know what I mean).

So there it is guys a small glimpse of my resolutions. I have a few more but I don't want to bore you with them. I hope you all had a delicious holiday season and that the new year is kind.
